Just yesterday I was assisting Chris Close in his photo-shooting for one advertising agency in Leith.
Well, I was more of the carrier of the equipment but still it was very interesting to observe the work of successful photographer. Hope he will call me again :)
Bedlam paintball
Previous Sunday I was lucky to take a report photos from Bedlam Paintball nearby Lenzie city.
It was an unusual competition, because one of the teams were DJs and stuff from Radio Rock 96.3!

It was challenging – to keep the lenses and hired camera from the attack of paint balls; I also felt as a (photo)hunter hiding among the trees :) Meta-shooter.

Exercise on lighting – daylight with a reflector.
Our apartment is really dark, it is always evening in here. That is relaxing, but deadly for photoshooting – needed to use 800 ISO, 1.4 open aperture and short exposures, so the quality isn’t perfect. Hope to reshoot it outside some day.
There is a painting on the background – the biggest thing I found here. That is charmingly strange – I keep finding different useful objects. First, I found a pack of cigarettes on the empty chair, then a pencil, good one, pack of chewing gums, shawl with skulls… but this painting is my favorite :) It was just abandoned near trash bins. When I’m in mystical mood I believe these are signs from above/God/Universe/Fate, and if I’ll get all the pieces I will understand something very important about life or myself.
